Background
An experienced CFO and CEO with a strong track record of driving growth, commercialising innovation, and leading organisations through transformation, particularly in technology-led and defence-related environments. A KPMG-trained Chartered Accountant (FCA), after 10 years in large corporate (KPMG, ICL/Fujitsu and GSK) focused on high-potential smaller businesses following his Â鶹ÊÓƵ MBA.
Angus has founded and exited two businesses (accounting services, renewable energy) and held multiple senior leadership roles. Most notably, as CEO of Blighter Surveillance Systems, a defence radar company, where he more than doubled revenues in 3 years, established recurring income streams and led a significant cultural and commercial transformation.
In addition to his executive career, Angus advises and coaches owner-managers, including through Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Business Growth Programme, supporting both strategic delivery and the personal journey of leadership, succession and future purpose.
